Thanks for stopping by. I am an Experience Designer and User Researcher currently located in Boston. I enjoy working on projects where I get to connect with a broad demographic of users and help create products and solutions that can make a tangible contribution to everyday life.
Prior to UX Design I was a commercial advertising photographer, then a small business entrepreneur. Outside of work I like to travel, take photographs, ride bicycles, water my plants, and I listen to a lot of music.

Values
- Sound process. A consistent and deliberate UX process is crucial. It can be easy to veer away from.
- Real user research. There is no substitute for connecting face-to-face with users.
- Low-fidelity. Test wireframe prototypes early and often… and make sure both the team and the stakeholders understand that refined graphics come later.
- Creative comfort. Everyone on the team should feel the safety to present five quick ideas they came up with that day, and some of them outlying.
- Acceptance. Both introverts and extroverts should have an environment they flourish in.
- Figure it out. Nothing ever goes 100% according to plan. It's important to accept that, adapt and navigate.

Travel & Photography
It has always been a dream to travel the world and concentrate on photographing it. This culminated once I had earned the opportunity to take an extended break in 2022, travel more frequently, build my on photographic style, and create a fresh photography website.
Formerly an a studio advertising photographer I now shoot both digitally and on film, focusing on landscapes and black & white street photography. I sell my prints through my site, partner with an independent travel company, and license my images in the tourism and hospitality industry.
Exploring the cultures, landscapes and cities in our world has been amazing both visually and personally.
Bicycling
Forever a bicyclist I like to ride trails, open roads, city streets, and in 2022 I managed to cross the state of Iowa in 7 days along with some friends. Ride more bikes!
